Just goes to show you how much of a selfish ***** Mayweather is. How can you even consider this child one of the greatest of all time, true great athletes dont just exploit the sport that has given them everything. He has used boxing for fame and fortune and has only returned half ass fights with handpicked opponents and thinks because he is undefeated so far hes is the greatest. This punk shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as the true greats,. it would be disrespectful to them. True greatness is defined not only by God given talent, yes he can throw punches, sure he is fast, but in the heart department he has nothing, true great athletes make there teams better, they bring the best out of there opponents and give back to the game they love . Cotto and Margarito may not be as fast or as popular but as far as boxing goes I believe they are the epidemy of what a boxer should be, Take on all challengers and give the sport that has made them its due respect.

lets hope he comes back in two years, and gets KOed by the welterweight champ at that time. and it ruins his legacy.

There's never anything wrong when a fighter wants to retire, especially when they're smart enough to do it while they are still on top.

Seriously, he's the best pound 4 pound and he's made a fortune fighting. I'd get out while on top too.

For the record I'd love to see PBF vs. Cotto but I'll take a pass on PBF vs. Oscar.

Margarito wouldn't stand a chance against Floyd so that's not even a necessary fight IMO.

Everyone knows you're a card carrying, sack swinging Margo fan but c'mon, what does he have that Floyd hasn't beaten yet?

Well if he is retiring b/c of injury, then good luck to him. But if it's an act, then I think he is making a terrible business/legacy decision.
