Mr Floyd Joy Mayweather has a keen eye on A side B side business of things.

Ortiz fight will bring him prestige but not much money, I doubt he makes much more than usual for this fight as Ortiz isn't a draw.

Povetkin fight would of brought him $4.5 mill had they fought but it looks like Povetkin may go the WBA or WBO route. And Povetkin isn't even ranked by the WBC currently and I doubt Povetkin would face Wilder without his belt on the line, so Povetkin is a no go.

Parker and Wilder already met and compared numbers and there just isn't the money in the fight for this to happen, if there was they would of tried making the fight. So Parker is out of the question even if Parker doesn't face Joshua.

Browne is likely to fight either Whyte or Parker depending upon if AJ/Parker is finalised. So that's not a likely to happen either.

Neither Fury has shown any desire to fight Wilder. Tyson won't fight anyone decent before facing Joshua and Hughie is box office poison after the Parker fight.

Wilder basically has limited options and none of them pay well apart from Joshua or Whyte.

 

I'm almost tempted to remove him from "ignore" just to watch the contradictions and absolute cobblers that will come out of his mouth.

Yeeeeaaaahhh, problem is Wilder don't really want to fight him, Stiverne III is more to Wilders liking.

 

I heard he has bought them for his Mother for Christmas the last 5 years in row, she really goes through those fists.

 

My point is that all Wilder has to do is keep winning, which he does easily and he'll get the fights that he wants eventually while I'm doubtful Joshua will be able to stay unbeaten with his awful stamina and limited experience. If either Povetkin or Parker get Joshua in the ring and beat him, which is highly possible everything would fall into place for Wilder. Also, even if Joshua wins he'll still be back at square one with Wilder and need to face him anyway, which means all the pressure is on Joshua and not Wilder.

Besides Ortiz Wilder easily runs through the top ranked WBC fighters. When Joshua runs out of opponents or his numbers slide Hearn won't hesitate to bring Joshua over to fight Wilder.

I loved how fighters in the 70's to 90's would just fight wherever they could and wouldn't focus too much on the payday, the split, they just want to get it on asap against the best fighters out there and that is what warriors too.
