Did you read the Mayweather article? 2 days before the fight he couldn't jab or hook, that **** doesn't clear up in 2 days.

There is a reason why xylocaine was needed. Pitter-patter punches and bum shoulder.

Because Wladimir beat Byrd just after and Vitali was retired during Byrd's last run before Wladimir beat him for the second time. Threads like this are just preposterous - I really liked Byrd, he was the most skilled fighter at HW at the time and he fought against people outweighing him by 30+ pounds. But Vitali was beating him before the injury and probably would have finished the job in a rematch. Dubbing Vitali a quitter because he retired with a serious injury one single time in his career is moronic.

Mayweather fans talk about the injury and how it affected their fighter's performance. In an interview, Floyd said that he couldn't throw a jab or left hook and if that was the case, I'd understand why it would affect Floyd's performance.

However, the problem is, in the first fight, Mayweather threw 297 jabs. In the second fight, Mayweather threw only 235 jabs.

That's a lot of jabs for someone who can't move his left arm.

Mayweather only threw 109 jabs against Judah, 72 against Hatton, 210 against Mosley, 240 against De La Hoya and 200 against Baldomir, yet we're meant to believe that he threw 297 jabs against Castillo, in a fight where he couldn't move his left arm?

If Mayweather had a shoulder injury, it was clearly an insignificant one. It didn't hamper his punch output and he threw the jab more regularly than in many of his big fights.

This section gets dumber by the day. You were there when he got surgery huh? Where is your proof? An your seriosly gonna compare a tear to a ****in dislocation. When you get a little tear you can move your arm after a few minutes. When you dislocate your arm you cannot move it at all. Stupid ****.
