i cant believe you call the guy a runner.. yes he moves around alot and at times can be frustrating to watch but the guy has got major balls in my eyes,,

he's labelled as been a ***** and scared by some critics but to taunt your opponent and have the nerve to let him come on to you and cover up on the ropes while this guy wants to knock your head off and not get hit is major talent in my eyes,, yes his personality is flawed but the guy is not scared..

sweet pea was awesome also, you couldn hit dat guy wit a handful of rice,,:bbb

if u havent figured by now, ppl only call him a runner when they have an agenda (general haters, and critics who are more into the 'excitement' of a fight rather than the science of it - eg larry merchant). no objective people call him a runner.

I believe he is the best, even better than whittaker, you would know this if you saw how many times whitaker got knocked down.

He has also has the best variety in defence. Good lateral movement (corrales), high guard (zab), shoulder roll (dlh). You just rarely see him get hit flush, and i saw pernell hit flush quite a few times

If Castillo could hit him cleanly i dont think he can be labelled as the best ever. 5 or 6 maybe? Whitaker is the number one clearly IMO

having all of 35 fights and against guys like washed up DLH, Baldimor, sharba mitchell, henry brussels, victoriano sosa, gatti, does not make him a greatestest of all time at anything...get a grip dude...if he would have stepped up and fought some guys, maybe you can mention him
