The ref even regrets ruling that a knockdown ... he didn't get hit - he went down on his own will.

I hear you but I do believe he got knockdown by Zab Judah but the ref ruled it a slip.

Mayweather would have won every round.

As far as a Hamed vs. Floyd fight would have panned out I think Floyd workrate alone would've got him the win

    Floyd by 10th round stoppage.

Chico was choked up and teared up during the post fight interview - he didn't prepare for a loss ...

No. Gatti moved up to 135 back in 1998.

so they were just short of overlapping! what would have happened if floyd fought gatti in 97, a yr before he won the wbc in 98. same outcome or different? could gatti bully a young pbf that hadnt been world champ at the weight of 130?

PBF would have beat Hamed bad. The Prince would have got quite the boxing lesson

Floyd probably would have messed up any version of Hamed. Cause if MAB could neutralise his offense then clearly he wouldn't have had **** v Floyd.

Floyd would've whooped up on Gatti, even in 97. Floyd was really sharp pretty early in his career. After his 10th pro fight, he said he could beat Gatti and Chicanito. And just to give you some perspective, Gatti was stopped by Manfredy in January of 98. Lil Floyd stopped Manfredy in 2 rounds in December of 98.
