Mayweather is boring according to other boxing fans and the public only pays for his undercards or his opponent, without a stacked undercard, mayweather wouldnt be making big ppv numbers like the guerrero fight which also had a good undercard but only did 850k ppvs in the US in Las Vegas where he fought. Unlike pac vs rios which had a crap undercard and was in china.

You guys consider floyd boring and I shell out money to order his fights... Funnily enough my friends who are casual fans love watching Floyd fight and actually appreciates what he does in the ring.
Last fight we had a party for a pac fight was Bradley

To add to that, I thoroughly enjoyed the donaire and rig fight... The tension throughout the 12 rds was cool

    Weird...

I suggested to a casual to watch the May Canelo fight, he did and he thought it was boring as ****.

I've never met a casual that doesn't love Pacquiao though.

Oh my friends like Pac fights as well...They (myself included) thought Pac got robbed even Bradley was declared the winner. I was surprised tho that they appreciated the nuances in Floyd's game.
The canelo fight, my buddy was like "Canelo better show floyd something by the 4th... When he's downloaded, fights over" lol

    Impartial fans... Gotta love them

I can't believe how mad people in this thread are getting about Floyd trying to build a good undercard

How do you enjoy boxing and not want to see good fighters on cards

I think Mayweather is concerned his PPV in may could be eclipsed by the march 8th PPV of Canelo bcus canelo can rely upon a million plus fans, and if this happens then this may make mayweather lose ground on this PPV talk.

So it's gonna be difficult to prize canelo away from establishing himself as a PPV star or maintaining May's expectations etc for GBP/TMT and Showtime

I stopped watching Floyd fights a year ago. I only put up with his boring fights for as long as I did so I could see Manny's competition.

if it was Cotto-Canelo then it would out sell The mayweather fight. but with Anuglo or Molina up it will do 500k plus, but wont beat Mayweather vs Khan/Maidana

I get what u saying though

I don't think Floyd needed Canelo to be the Highest paid Athlete...even without endorsements. Look it up!!! No matter who Floyd fights or has on his undercard....I guarantee he won't do $475,000 PPV buys (Hint Hint).
