I think it's a great idea. So many complain about the undercard fights being boring and the price for PPv is to high. Well this is how you solve the problem. Put stars on the undercard.

yes thats good but floyd makes out his last ppv record is becouse of him when it clearly wasnt becouse if that was the case he would of done the same with the ghost which was 800 000 buys we all know canelo and the big undercard had something to do with it:patsch

But most of Floyd's fights aren't chess matches AT ALL

A good brawl is good because its between too good brawlers

A good chess match is a good chess match because its between 2 good chess players

Floyd v Canelo was not a chess match...it was a mismatch and therefore very dull

Floyd v Guerrero was very boring because it was a mismatch and therefore very dull

Floyd v Cotto was a bit of a chess match

Damn Floyd v Hatton was entertaining because even though Floyd dominated, he was made to work for that win, Hatton kept him busy almost all night, and Floyd since admitted it was one of his hardest fights

But don't try kidding people into thinking Floyd's fight are great tactical affairs because they aint............for the exact reason Floyd is normally streets ahead of his oppoent in terms of ability

Of course Canelo did, but that's besides the point of giving the buyers there moneys worth. Where spending our hard earn money to see the fights. I would prefer to get my money worth. If putting stars on the undercard will give me that, then i'm all for it.

hence why I also cited rigo/donaire as an example. Floyd and Canelo was a chess match at the start until Floyd downloaded him. I like those kinds of fights where you can see a fighter working out the kinks of his opponent.

floyds fights are boring and he needs to shout and insult to sell his fights and also get big names on his undercard

canelo already showed his middle finger to floyd and see what happened, floyd ghost didnt go very well and showtime force him to fight canelo, canelo already had the floyd fight, no reason for him to raise floyds ppvs again...
floyd better go after his little broner and still wont get half of what he gets with canelo..

So are we just going to pretend that floyd vs shane/cotto/jmm all didn't do well in the ppv sense... Or are we going to say that those fights sold because of his opponents as well?

That's not true, Floyd acknowledged Canelo's fans as well as his own after the fight. He knows Canelo brought a lot to table as far as fans.

Floyd always plays chess in that square circle. Whatever style fighter he faces, he breaks them down in a very tactical manner. They come to play and end up getting played with.

Canelo is coming for Floyd's PPV crown. Floyd knows this. I like this type of competition.
