Canelo is already more popular than FLoyd was at 24. Has already pulled-in more PPV's than FLoyd had up to his 30th b-day!

That's why Floyd wants him on his undercard.:deal

Exactly ! The guy calls himself money but refuses the biggest money fights !

This is the 2nd time he's done this ..Why did he not rematch Oscar ? Imagine those numbers ? I don't buy his excuses anymore .

Yeh because casual boxing fans knew who Garcia and Matthysse were. If these guys are such big draws, why don't they headline their own PPV's:good

to be honest, I have no idea if Oscar wanted a rematch
that fight wasn't close unless you were scoring the crowd though

Why not , had it ended in a KO I wouldn't have wanted to see it again but why not Mosley and Oscar had a rematch of their fight , Wright and Mosley fought more than once Leonard fought Duran again ,rematches are what make boxing great !

...and yet Oscar didnt rematch tito, a fight that you would think he would have craved after, because tito refused to be paid less than a guy he had already 'beat'

I agree that rematches can make the sport great. who wouldn't embrace a gatti - ward trilogy ?

but...now that sport is big business and fighters and promoters realize that they can write their own book because there isn't a credible federation to rule over all, they do

it gives all involved a license to 'bite the hand that feeds them'

Trinidad and Oscar had a similar issue that plagues the Mayweather-Pacquio fight ,ego!

Hey we are getting Gonzalez Mares 2 ,we just had Darchinyan Donaire 2 ,etc look at the result of Marquez and Pacquio 4 ..Rematches give a different element to the sport! The big business of the sport can help the sport and also hurt it .

Floyd's fan base is more diverse than Canelo's. He has maybe 60% USA and 40% scattered in different countries. Canelo's is 90% Mexico and 10% scattered. They need each other to crack that two million mark in the states and that's only good business sense in Floyd's case. On the other hand, Floyd can go to the UK and fight Khan and still crack or get close to that mark but Canelo can't. Floyd is a much bigger world wide draw than Canelo. I'll bet he would have done much better than Pac in China.

Lets be clear Canelo doesn't have an Oscar Delahoya who is responsible for both Manny and Floyd's ppv success ..

I hear you but the truth be known is that Oscar ain't did nothing but hate on Mayweather for the last three of four years. Mayweather is responsible for the majority of his promotions. He is the one who came of with the 24/7. If you don't wanna give him his props, that's cool but he is no dummy by a long shot.

Oscar made them superstars .They became household names once they fought Oscar the same could be said for Hopkins .
