I have no clue why Mayweather would want to get rid of a loyal 'mouth piece' like Leonard Ellerbe


It is difficult to find a hard working, loyal employee like that in today’s America. Unless this is Leonard’s decision to leave, I think this is a BIG mistake for the Mayweather brand. It is hard to find someone who could stand before the press room and admonish the media for attacking Floyd for his stupid comments regarding Ray Rice quite like Leonard did before last weeks fight.

And does anybody know what happened to Roger Mayweather? I didn’t see him at all during the all access, or in the corner during fight night. I know he was having some health problems, but I never expected him to be removed from the team entirely. Anybody have any info on that?

 

Floyd finally making wise team moves. Ellerbe was only good for a massage on the chest & occasionally calling up Kellie Maloney for a night on the town.

 

Could this be related to the Pacquiao fight?

Maybe Mayweather and Ellerbe have different views on whether they should make the Pacquiao fight or not. Maybe Ellerbe insisted that Mayweather should fight Pacquiao, and Mayweather refused to listen and they decided to part ways. Or maybe it was the other way around, and Mayweather actually wanted to fight Pacquiao, but Ellerbe tried to persuade him not to do it. At the end of the day, they pick Mayweather’s fights as a team, so if there is not an agreement between them it would be logical that they would stop working together. This of course is just speculation, but wouldn’t it make sense?

The only reason. What do you think the reason Floyd left HBO ? HBO was pressuring Floyd to fight Pacquiao. 50 cent ( Floyd's ex-BFF ) was pushing Floyd hard to fight Pacquiao. Floyd severed his ties with GBP after Arum and GBP ended their COLD WAR. And now Ellerbe....?

 

If Showtime REALLY push for the Manny fight, Floyd will be in serious trouble if he doesn't take it...
