Floyd Mayweather Doesn't Belong In This Era...

I really believe he could have fought even with the Fab 4.

I really think he can beat each of them, but of course he'd take losses too.

Benitez/Floyd/Hearns/Hagler/Ray.

 

80's would have been good or late 1990's at WW. This era is so weak that he can fight the number 3 ranked guy at WW and be called a cherry picker :verysad (he already beat number 2)

 

I grew up watching lil' Floyd do his thing. I like him right where he is :smoke

he'd have to fight tough competition thats on the same level as his own. Tbh he would get more credit in this era because he would only lose to Hearns, maybe Duran, tough fight but he could beat him. He'd beat aswell Pryor.

 

It's funny how this era is so weak but he stills lose the best fighter of this era to an Asian midget atsch.

He hasn't even beaten (let alone fought) the best of his era. If he was in a stronger era he wouldn't even be seen in the division.

 

This is the perfect era for him... what other era allows him to fight once a year or take massive amounts of time off and still be considered great?

Previous eras wouldn't have allowed him to carefully protect his 0 with highly opportunistic matchmaking.
