Shane didn't even try to pot shot. :huh You do know what that is right when it's used in boxing? Basically throwing single punches, often just a jab, and moving to avoiu getting hit back. Rinse and repeat over and over. DLH was good at that. Floyd did that a lot vs. Baldomir.

Jones won a porttion of the HW title at 34. Then dropped down in weight to beat the #1 LtHW in Tarver.

And because he couldnt fight flatfooted......his career at the top along with his style came to a crashing holt and Tarver 2 exploited that.

 

Don't confuse pot shotting with counter punching. Pot shotting is a word used by the aggravated ARM chair fan that thinks that the other guy throws one shot and moves because he doesnt go toe to toe. That fan doesn't realize that its really counter punching IF YOU'RE WINNING FIGHTS. You dont become great by pot shotting, you get accused of that in my book.

Shane never tried to pot shot vs. Floyd. He's never done that throughout his career. Not his style or anything he tries. That's all I was saying. atsch
