Im a Floyd fan and I don't believe he will fight like the 90s Floyd. What's crazy is Floyd throws 4-5 punch combos when sparring but doesn't do it on fight night.

I dont think he will fight like the 90's either if he does, I would be AMAZED as I had assumed he pot shot due to the weight and hand issues.

I wish some of these so called journalists would pick up on what Floyd has said and ask him if he truely is going to fight like he did at the lower weights, but no doubt they will keep asking the same questions about you know who?!

Floyd has said some interesting things lately such as wanting to stay active and give the fans another 10 fights I'd like to have some clarification on a few of them!

    Damn you journos suck!

This fight will look similar to the Floyd-Mosley, except Floyd doesn't get caught, and Ortiz gets KO'd.

Victor Ortiz will bring *****s back to reality September 2011.
Don't waste your time ordering it the excuses will roll after the fight.
Then will come Spadafora, Khan, Bradley, Ortiz etc.

As some others have already said, I agree, Floyd has been acting differently lately it seems, for the better.

That would be awesome if Floyd comes out aggresive and managed to get Ortiz out of there early, as that would be one hell of a statement leading up to, what I have to assume, would be the Pacquaio fight.

At least with Kareem Mayfield you get a sick dance at the end. With Floyd you just get a boring shot fighter hug Ellerbee at the end.

    :yep

No doubt though, Ortiz is going to struggle against Floyd's jab alone. We'll see if he can get Floyd to slug it out, which I have a feeling will happen, now that Floyd is talking about fighting like in the 90's.

Whats this statement got to do with Pac? :huh

Anyway...........I'm looking forward to this, I doubt very much Floyd is super aggressive he has been off and when he came back against Marquez he was quite tentative I feel.

Can't wait to see what happens!

This is a decent fight, I'm up for it. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Oritz loses heart if Mayweather really dominates and schools him... possibly another Maidana type stoppage?

its why he chose to fight Ortiz right? as a tuneup to Pac..:tired

you say this type of **** when you're past it or if you ain't marketable. Sounds like he's trying to 'reinvent' himself to get people to buy this otherwise, lousy fight.

I really liked the Floyd from the Mosley fight. But remember, this was a shot old mosley. Floyd stayed in the pocket and moved forward.

His legs are gone he cant fight like he did when he was at 130 and he rarely ever throws a combo like he did back then, with that said he should still be able to easily beat Ortiz who is basically just another handpicked opponent but well at least this time he isnt taking a tune up against a lightweight.

how in the world is ortiz chinny ? he did not look chinny to me when berto launched a homing missile of a right hand at his face. is chinny because of the maidana fight ? hell madiana is the hardest puncher at 140, everyone has a suspect chin fighting madiana are you kidding me :-(

in the words of roger mayweather, you dont know **** about boxing.i guess paul and margo are chinny as well, they have been stoped before as well.
