He never like to get hit, but hes a tough kid when the fights on. I remember watching him in the olympics thinking he was going to make a horrible pro because all he did was circle his opponent and fly around the ring. I thought Manfredy would beat him because he faced him so early on but Floyd adapted pretty well as a pro. He will never be a Duran type fighter, hes a boxer, but has shown in recent years the ability to stand in the pocket and trade a little more to make his point. I dont believe Mayweather is particularly strong physically, and has been fighting a bit above his natural fighting weight until recently.

Why is Mayweather beating of Mosley used as a example of him being the greatest when Vernon Forrest gave Mosley a worse beating knocking him down twice, 10 years ago when Mosley was at his peak, Its not a unique achievement that no ones ever done before, Winky Wright also did it.

Not prime versions of them. Maybe Floyd was too young to consider fighting both of them earlier, but I can recall that Shane was calling him out way earlier than the recent fight they had.

Mayweather was calling Mosley/DLH very early on, around 2000. Mayweather says both turned him down then, Shane certainly turned down the fight in 2006, although its speculated he was pressured by Delahoya to do so

Thats true Mayweather was mad for them fights to be made so they could make him a superstar, I miss that Floyd that was hungry to prove himself against the best.

He's only about the money now

Yes Mayweather pretty much fell out of love with boxing and followed his lust for the hip hop lifestyle

Not taking the Pacquaio fight even if it wasn't the best deal is a big big mistake for Mayweather because Pacman is really made to measure for him in terms of style/size/skills and would be easy money and easy legacy while forgiving any other missed fights imo
