Going through some ESB threads today i stumbled across the daily pacquiao/steroid posts. i noticed one thread talking about manny and possible use of roids.. and i began thinking hmmm he could have a point here....then i realised suddenly.... WOT D ****!??! this is EXACTLY what mayweather wants!

before floyds accusations of manny hardly ANYONE even thought about manny juicing.... then floyd out of nowhere, based on NO facts whatsoever accuses pacquiao of steroids.. and just like that peple are talking about it on a daily basis!

when you hear a theory you can bend the past in hundreds of ways to fit that theory! and even if you dont believe them one bit.. it still stays in your mind! and this is exactly what mayweather wanted!!!

now i want to make clear im not bashing floyd... i feel he beats manny if they fight each other! but its amazing how this guys accusation has changed the way manny is viewed by a LOT of people!!

and in my view that **** aint right!

    any thoughts?

I think that's what Floyd wanted. He was kind of upset that Manny success in popularity and overall legacy surpassed his own and when the fight was on the table he wanted to find a way to discredit Manny. And he did just that....Not that the majority believe Floyd but there are some who do and that is enough.

IF Floyd spread the rumors and used the demands for blood test as a way to delay the fight so the build up would be even more impactful the man did a masterful job b/c EVERYONE wants to see this fight and there is even more money on the table now than just 3 months earlier.

My first thought is that Floyd Jr. never accused Pacquiao of anything. My second thought is that Pacquiao brought a lot of suspicion on himself by giving lame excuses for not complying with the testing request.

mate if you listen to the radio interview he had with RUGGED MAN they mention pacquiao and the first thing he comes out with is ''dont the phillipines have the best performance enhancing drugs?!?''
fair enough thats not the most credible of sources but the fact he insists on these drug tests when he has NEVER done so for any of his previous opponents is enough of an accusation!

PAC's camp never handled the situation well.

But are your serious about Floyd not accusing Pac? All of this started from Floyd's camp.

    Yep...

Mayweather would not have ANY believers if Pac had simply agreed to the terms. Or maybe everyone would believe Mayweather, you can't blame Mayweather for trying to hurt Pac's image when Pac had the chance to make him look like a fool.

You can say whatever you want, he never accused Pacquiao of anything. He asked him to take a blood test. He's well within his right to ask. Pacquiao has handled the situation poorly which is why more people are suspicious. How can you expect people to believe it takes 24 days to recover from a blood test?

Find me a quote from Floyd Jr. where he accuses Pacquiao of using PEDs.

Exactly! It's suspicious as hell that pac won;'t do any testing and he let the fight fall apart because of it. Pac has no one else to blame but himself.

It doesn't take 24 days...that was just their stance on the issue that was created by Floyd and company. The testing shouldn't have ever been an issue to begin with but since it came up after the accusations from Floyd and his team it has to be dealt with.

How Manny handled the situations was to show Floyd that he can't dictate the terms of the fight. IF Floyd really wanted to fight and make that kind of money he wouldn't have requested the testing. But there was something behind the testing demands that Im not sure about.

There is more money now on the table b/c of the inital break down of the fight and since PAC and Floyd have both won impressively in their last bouts....so it could have all been a tactical move by Floyd to fatten the POT?

Or...He really was concerned about loosing to PAC...not b/c he thinks he's really on something...otherwise that rumor would have been spread LOOOOOONG before when PAC was steadily dominating in the lower weight classes.

When did Floyd Jr. and Floyd Sr. become one person? You can't name one time where Floyd Jr. accused Pacquiao of being on anything. The closest was the RA the Rugged man interview. That was one time and it happened months ago. You call me a blind nuthugger, but I'm the one being objective here. Mayweather Jr. has handled this very professionally. He can't help what his father and unclen say. They are their own men.
