Great highlights. I don't think there has ever been such a well co-ordinated, focused boxer. He never takes his eyes off his opponents ' eyes, and after every punch he throws he is expecting a counter. His ring discipline is amazing. I am sometimes a little bemused as to why Mayweather isn't spoken of as p4p ATG. He's up there with Robinson and Ali, just needs to beat Pacquiao and I think he'll be accepted as people's opinion of an ATG.
The best thing is this isn't really one of those highlights of his defining wins, more a different approach on how he actually is on the fundamental level as a boxer, which is spectacular. I mean, you see some Phillip N'Dou footage in there, that was his Breidis Prescott, and he absolutely made an example of him Also, the music is not everyones cup of tea, but I like it once you sync it up with the video, it fits in a weird way, it fits the ease with which Floyd operates
Nice vid, He's razor sharp in some clips. The way he cut Corrales down to size was brilliant. Must say, The lighter weight Floyd was much enjoyable on all levels..
Floyd could have been an ATG, if he'd fought more light welterweights and welterweights closer to their primes. Since 2007 he's fought three times, and one of those was against a complete grade A* bum in Ortiz. You've got to judge people on what they've done, and he hasn't done enough to be right up there. Beating Pac at this stage is meaningless, Manny is past his best and was dominated by Marquez less than a year ago. Unless Floyd Gatti'd him...... even then, now his legs have gone and the fire has dimmed he's not all that anymore. He'll never get back to the levels of the Cotto performance, which was his best, IMO.
Floyd @ 130 was spectacular, truly spectacular. As a fighter he had EVERYTHING at that weight. As a person he is scum, but as a Boxer he is the best fighter that I've seen since a young James Toney.
