Hopefully it will end with an embarrassing defeat and a toddler like tantrum over losing his precious 0. He will keep promising a comeback but will instead retreat to his "big boy" mansion (always thought that sounded like a gay version of the playboy mansion) to count his money which will eventually run out due to ridiculous lavish spending and a bankruptcy and subsequent reality tv shows will be the final embarrasment. Larry Merchant (if he's still alive) will constantly make sly digs at floyd in every fight commentary.
I see him getting knocked out at some point in an upset with some controversy surrounding the result.
Not sure if you misread or this is your real opinion. I said if he were to beat the 7 I've mentioned :good He's certainly not ahead of Hearns now! Calm down
I see him taking an 'L' at some point, being humbled by it somewhat, then avenging it. I'd prefer it to be against Cotto next month (doubt it though). He'll retire 47-1 (ish). My guess is something like: May 2012 @ 154 - Cotto (TKO8 W) Dec 2012 @ 154 - Alvarez (TKO11 W) May 2013 @ 160 - Martinez (TKO9 L) Nov 2013 @ 154 - Martinez (UD W) May 2014 @ 147 - Pacquiao (UD W) No matter what though, Floyd will never be considered as top '--' by some as he made the rod for his own back by declaring he was GOAT from a very long time ago.
Probably 47-0, because Floyd said he's having 5 more fights, including Cotto. Hopefully Martinez will be one of those, & Arum decides to cash in his chips with Pac.
Not all of those are as good as it seems on paper though, he's a very good fighter, just not as good as many others
