Yeah, I agree...those riveting fights against Carlos Baldomir and Oscar De La hoya really proved that he is a beast at 147 and 154!! He has earned the majority of any purse!! Yeah right!! I guess fighting Henry Bruseles and Arturo Gatti at 140 and Carlos Baldomir and Zab Judah at 147 in snoozers really earns a fighter a great payday.

I like Floyd and I know he's gonna beat Pac if they ever meet. I just wish he'll put the money issue to the side and shut all his haters and take the fight at a 50/50 split. Manny has done enough to at least get that I will admit.

 

I made a thread on this why the hell not 50/50 or 60/40 to the winner the winner gets the spoils the better man gets the payday and so the winner gets the bigger amount.

 

I can understand Floyd, he has earned what he is demanding and he simply wants to have a premium for his first loss!

I dont understand how legacy and what someone has achieved being a factor in a purse split.

If someone generates X amount of money for a fight then common sense deems that the guy that sells the most gets the most???......you didnt see Bernard Hopkins getting the lions share against Oscar because of what he had achieved?

Im NOT saying it shouldnt be 50/50....but lets not look at it impartially here...fight purses aint determined by achievement in the ring all the greedy ****ers are interested in is the $$$.......Its just not how boxing works recently...
