I'm glad that he has said this, he has made it clear who Top Rank need to contact (not that they needed to be told AGAIN)

He has made it clear he wants Manny and he doesnt want Cotto or Canelo.

So thats a call out on Youtube, on Twitter & Facebook and now an interview with Fighthype.

We need to pile the pressure on so public opinion counts and Bob Arum has to make the fight, May 5th could be great for us fans if we finally get this fight.

Nah, it was after they moved their sentence to June. Upon successfully doing that, Mayweather's attorney said his team would prefer not to face Pacquiao on May 5th because there wouldn't be enough time to go through negotiations and promotions of such a big fight. In other words, they'd prefer to secure an Alvarez or a Guerrero (or whoever else) who would happily sign the contract in a heartbeat for peanuts, and because it's not the super megafight, the minimum of 6 months to prepare and promote would not be an absolute requirement for it.

All of these sudden call-outs on Facebook and Twitter directly from Floyd, are just acts of posturing. Just like Arum and Pac's silly "I'll fight you on another date when my imaginery cut is healed" is posturing, too. It's all just damage limitation for the decision(s) that both have alread made - the decision to not fight each other yet and milk the public for every other little fight that's available.

 

Read the article guys, it gives you a good insight into the business and motives behind what's going on with Arum, Konkz and Pacquaio is likely being shafted by them. He talks about investors coming to his gym/house and they needed to see Manager/Partner Haymon and not himself. He says Konkz said Arum wasn't in charge. He says Arum didn't want him to fight Delahoya because he was scared of losing his cash cow and it's the same thing again now. He says the investors are there just to take money from the boxers. Read it, it's good stuff

He doesn't say that, he says he doesn't want Cotto/Marquez/Alvarez/Guererro and he only wants Pacquaio
