true, but he gave the fans what they came to see.

If he stands and fight its because his legs are shot and he cant run anymore

If he hits and moves its because he cant stand and fight

I guess at some point he just lost the 100% safety first attitude with age.

I've been wanting to make a thread on this because Mayweather easily dominates Cotto in the middle of the ring but he stayed on the inside to give a show. I don't think I've ever seen him on the ropes for so long, and he still managed to get the better of most of those exchanges.

**** you guys are gullible. Cotto was pushing forward on the front foot trying to work his jab at center ring. Floyd fought the way he fought because he had to to neutralize Cotto's pressure and offense. Why didn't he stay at the center of the ring? Because eventually Cotto pushes forward behind that left jab. Just because you get the impression it could be easy doesn't mean it is.

Baldo has a cast iron jaw. He knew he wouldn't be able to ko that. With Cotto it made more sense.

Maybe, maybe not. If he could have made it an easy fight, he would've done it. Floyd Mayweather doesn't take unecessary risks in the ring. Self-preservation. Floyd had to trade off the ropes sometimes because Cotto put him in that situation and he needed to land shots to not risk Cotto stealing rounds
