Like you I want to see that fight too. But if it does not happen Floyd and pacquiao , they both have done enough to contribute to the sport. So I'm for them not fighting anymore.

The difference is Floyd remains undefeated. Fact.

You know, if he just came out and admitted he can’t be bothered with the game anymore, and wants to enjoy his well-earned retirement, then fine, I’d be cool with that. At least he’s being honest about it. He may not have given us all the fights we wanted, but still, his career has been an incredible one if you look at it objectively. So yeah, let him retire and enjoy the money he’s earned.

But, if he’s gonna’ continue to keep up the bull**** he’s been feeding us for the past three years, then he better do what’s required of him, and fight Pacquiao. That’s what his job is. Either put up, or shut up. Don’t be teasing us and disappearing after every other fight. Just settle the business with Pac, or go off and enjoy your permanent retirement. Choose one or the other.

 

He tried to settle it in march 2010, pac went on to fight clottey. That was the best time for the fight to have been made, floyd was up for it, he was more than ready to go. But we all know what happened.

We will never come this close to getting the fight made ever again.:-(

 

Dude, that depends on what you believe. I’ve always felt that Floyd’s PED accusations and drug-testing demands were an outright shame and farce. I don’t blame Pac one bit for not conceding to him in March 2010. The failure of that fight was down to the roadblocks Floyd put up. And again in November 2010 - where Pac agreed to the 14 days that May was ok with previously, and May chose to remain silent during the whole process. This was the best time, I felt. Both fighters were coming off dominant wins (Clottey and Shane), were closer to their primes, and had ample time for both promotional teams to market the event.

It’s a shame. But **** it. If they’re not gonna’ fight. I wish they’d say so. Floyd obviously doesn’t have the same love for the game like he once did. In which case, let him chill and enjoy his retirement.

 

That same road block pac later agreed to only he already knew that floyd had already said that offer was off the table having completed random testing with NO KNOWN cut off period.

It makes it even more baffling that pac could have agreed back in March 2010 for the 14 day Road block.

And they ain't never gonna fight, floyd making 40 mil a fight, fighting guys with his C game.
