Oscar fought bhop at 158, hopkins just weighed in lower, people often mistake that.
Floyd should fight sergio at 154 if he wants to fight him, I think he will go with canelo

didnt most of Duran losses came from fighting at middleweight?

Learn from the mistakes of past fighters :smoke

In all seriousness even thinking about Floyd at middleweight is just :bart

    at least 154

If a catchweight is in place, no lower than 156-157

hes the 154 champ. sm should fight once at 154, immediately become the number #1 ranked wba contender, and then the wba should make floyd fight him or strip him of his title.

boxing is quickly becoming ruined because of this bull**** mayweather/canelo crap.

he and cotto really are not jmw's as well. the entire list of fighters at 154 will give both of these guys problems.

in fact, i think molina, kirland, lara, vanes and canelo should not be underdogs against either of these two guys as they are legit jmw's.

I would be happy to see this fight at 152.

I'd prefer it at 154, but Floyd is not a big 154 guy.

I remember when Shane was 38 and #3 in the world and they said he would not fight him either...then Shane got old after he fought him all of a sudden.

160 seems natural...but 157 sounds ok with me as well. Money can feel the same as Marquez when he fought him missing 5-6 pounds.

Would be nothing like that fight. Floyd can adapt to a bigger man. Not to mention that Sergio does not use his size very much if at all, in his fight game.

Fighting Martinez at 150 is BS. That's the same **** Pac pulls. You're basically turning a larger fighter into an ineffective dehydrated fighter ala DeLaHoya v Pac, Margarito v Pac.

That is because he has been fighting bigger fighters.

If Sergio goes up against Cotto or Floyd at 154, you will see him use his size alright.

Dzinziruk is a natural 154 who is smaller than Sergio. He still did not use his size in this fight. Sergio is not an "in fighter" either. He will box from the outside.

Sergio is a bigger man than PW. Height does not equal size man.

Floyd looked great fighting Cotto at 154. Why wont he fight Sergio at 154?
