Reminds me of NALLEGE.:yep At once dumbass and wants to **** off people.

Seriously, and no doubt, Mayweather is a talented great one, an ATG, but there is no way he is better than Sugar Robinson, if we are talking about ATG legacies, which I believe Mayweather was implying when he said that.

In fact, Pacquaio is greater than him ATG wise.

As for his chance to prove he is the best boxer ever, I think SRR, Greb, Armstrong and other greats set the bar exceedingly high that it will take him to the depths of Middleweight competition or to consistently look and beat great challenges for more years before he can even be considered to be in the top 10. And that goes to Pacquaio as well.

It is a long task, but I think Mayweather's mentality will not allow that to happen.

Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with what he said. Why should he feel inferior to another boxer?

Its the way he brings his opinion of him self across that annoys people.

lol how many times can u people get mad at the same comment.

what i will say is, as stupid as yall think Floyd is for making the comment, yall are more stupid for thinking "that ****** is absolutely nowhere near, in any way close to or even on the same planet as" Ray. I'm not saying he's better but by the time his career is over him being at least very close to Ray is not out of the realms of possibility in any way.

And if you think it's completely ludicrous for a 5 weight undefeated world champion at the top of the boxing game to at least be hanging in the same place as the probable GOAT I guess you'll never be happy in life. And for getting mad that the man himself said it ... like a lot of athlete's and entertainers do about their predecessors, is downright sad.

got dayum no one is saying he is better than SRR...however no way he isnt in his league either....and NO i wouldnt say he outright beats SRR...definitely not...however i would figure as intelligent and as hard as Floyd trains and comes prepared to a fight plus with his entire skillset....he definitley competes at a solid level...and hell its till no shame in losing to argumentively the GOAT SRR....or any other ATG but im willing to bet Floyd beats his fare share of ATG's.

and thats not just Floyd..hell Pac, RJJ, Bhop,Oscar,Mosley...these mothafuggas can fight just as well as anyone.

Come on man, if SRR fought in this day and age, he'd have the same record as Shane Nosley.

The best Sugar EVER, was Leonard and he lost to Camacho. :good

Put SRR against the guys Floyd has fought and he would have 40 wins and 40 knockouts.

I agree with what you're saying but you're just the same as them. You can't have a go at people who think Mayweatger is talking **** and label them as "losers" because everyone on here is the same.

I don't mind Mayweather thinks that. If I was a fighter, I would. As soon as you doubt yourself, you are open to attack, so his confidence in himself is a strength.

yes and did you know that 16 of them happened after Robinson came out of retirement

at 34 years of age losing in his second comeback fight against Raplh Jone he next loss would happen 2 years later to Gene Fullmer so that means 15 of the losse' were after the age of 36 and 145 fights.

    his record when he first retired was 131 - 3 - 2

Says the guy with the disturbing avatar and strange blogging motives. Judging my post against 90% of the others on this thread, my comment is 1 of the least "up someone's butthole"....by far.
