Floyd's resume at 130 is beyond reproach!!

But it's all fluff after that:

Floyd's biggest fight to date is a victory over and old DLH at 154.

Baldomir(biggest cinderella story of his time) @ 147

    Old and battle-weary Gatti @ 140

Castillo @ 135 (arguably lost the first one)

At 33 he's fighting what could be considered the toughest test of his boxing career, against a 38 year old Hall of famer.

NOT too good for a guy who insists he is better than SRR.

Maybe Floyd meant that he was better than Ray Robinson at dancing. Afterall, he did dance with the stars.

Isn't that saying something though? He's been a top 10 p4p fighter for over 10 years and he's still taking on bigger challenges. The guy has won titles in 5 divisions, and he's beaten numerous champs, top contenders, and future HOFers. He's done this while still maintaining his undefeated record. How many guys have won major titles in 5 divisions without suffereing 1 defeat?

What will we see when its all said and done ? Do you know that people would still rather watch a SRR fight in black and white than a Floyd Mayweather fight in HD 20 yrs from now ..He's great for now but in the long run he will just be another name under the likes of SRR and ALI all time !!!!!!!!

I prefer a dirty old quarter over a shinny new penny.

My previous post indicates the list of fighters he defeated to get those divisions so I'm personally not impressed.

Floyd is a really good fighter but IMO he is only undefeated because of his carefull selection of oponents(again, see my previous post).

Pac and DLH have won titles in more divisions than PBF and although they do have loses on their records, their resumes are way more impressive!

Floyd Mayweather is an all time great. Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest of all time. There is a difference. Mayweather, while great, has not fought or never will get to fight the competition Robinson faced and defeated.

Go watch Robinson Vs LaMotta, not being patronising, I mean seriously go watch that fight and then tell me Floyd is a better fighter than Ray Robinson.

look at the weak ass cats srr was fighting he out classed fighters that werent that good to begin with......or better yet they were good compared to eachother...srr would be a championship competitor in any era so would floyd.....but floyd is beating more talented fighters.....i just got thru watching srr pummel jake lamotta....whoopity doo floyd would beat jake and not get hit half as much as srr...and floyd might not have stopped him the way srr did but the result wouldve been the same

srr has two things to me that make his status as goat unbeatable by floyd....

    # of fights

    and aggressiveness

but they dont compare in regards to hitting and not getting hit...

63-67' Ali makes floyd look like a 12 year old amateur.
