ali and srr are more comparable skill wise.... floyd has a way of making people look silly for even sharing the same ring with him...

i dont think floyd is light years better than either if them...he is just better by a little...but none the less better

There isn't a boxing critic in the world who has floyd in the top 20 ATG.

    Goat? Not even considered.

Not to mention most of us (boxing critics included) think he lost to castillo in the first fight as well.

yea, Floyd needs to fight more and talk less. 40-0 and he thinks he's the god of boxing.

That means you only watched the last 3 rounds, early in the fight Robinson had use his jab and footwork to control the pace of the fight when LaMotta was strong and competative, it did'nt become one sided until the latter part of the fight. :deal

Right, but he hasn't had the competition to put himself in the running.

Does he have the potential? Sure. He is amazingly talented, but it doesn't matter if you're shutting out LW marquez or baldomir.

What makes their resumes so more impressive? Mayweather goes up to his 5th weight class and beats a DLH who was coming off an impressive victory over Mayorga and his detractors dissmiss it. Meanwhile, Pacquiao beats a weight drained, past it Morales who was coming off a lopsided decsions to a B level fighter and it's seen as a great win. If it were so easy for Floyd to have done what he's done, others would have accomplished the same feat. People dissmiss his win over Hatton because Hatton came up one division. Well if it's so hard to compete one division higher, then why doesn't he get more props for competing at a championship level in 5 different divisions? It's not like Mayweather is fightng bums. He's fighting legit comp, it's just neve seen as good enoough.

Let's look at his last few fights. Judah was a top 3 WW and was 1 fight removed from being a top 10 p4p fighter as well as the undisputed champ, Baldo was the undisputed WW champ, Hoya was the WBC SWW champ and a top 3 SWW, Hatton was a prime, undefeated top 10 p4p fighter and the top JWW, and Marquez was the no. p4p fighter(although he was definately too small). Now he's fighting the no.3 p4p fighter and a top 3 WW. Not many guys are taking on this level of opposition.

"What makes their resumes so more impressive?":patsch

You are extremely impressed with Floyd is because he's a 5 div. champ but the fact that PAC and DLH accomplished more does not impress you at all.

And if your sole point is that PBF is undefeated that is easily explained by the lack of ATG's on his resume.

IN regards to the DLH fight, He was past his prime(hope you don't try to deny this), and the Mayorga fight was the only fight he took in the 2 1/2 years between his fights with Hops and PBF. He wasn't exactly a full time boxer now was he.

If you're impressed with PBFs resume, more power to you but to me it's really weak.
