Floyd Mayweather Jr. is better than Ray Robinson was.

 

Floyd is only better than Robinson a one thing......talking about himself...he isn't a better fighter or boxer for that matter. They both are talented but there is NOTHING at all to suggest that Floyd is operating at a higher level than a prime Ray Robinson.

De La Hoya landed plenty of right hands and actually snapped Floyds head back a few times and ran him close, Zab Judah landed plenty of punches early in there fight too, and most people think Castillo beat him the first time.

so there's plenty of people that have laid a glove on him.

 

On May 1, Mayweather will attempt to do something Robinson wasn't able to do and that's win his first 41 professional fights. Ironically, Mayweather will have to go through another Sugar to do so.

 

He did win 41, just not in a row.
