It's interesting though, that everyone can be humbled by somebody. Everybody admires somebody, no matter the size of the ego. It was both shocking and pleasant when on Sky Sports News Floyd said 'i'd be privileged to share the ring with the great Pernell Whittaker'

He said that. He also spoke highly of Aaron Pryor, nobody else.

If Robinson was beating the **** out of Joey Maxim at 175 only to suffer Heat Prostration and retire against a Hall of Famer like Maxim.

Im sure Floyd Mayweather would be lucky to last 10 rounds with Robinson.

I mean Maxim at 175 is no Joke.

I don't see how anyone can disagree, when viewing the footage, it's just comes as the natural conclusion in my eyes, I mean you views on what you said are identical to what believe, like about Robinson offense and no defense minded fighter beating him, you need to gain his respect, and the bit about Hagler to, I think its the toughest fight for both of them, I favour Robinson but he would have to be at his best,

Imagine it. It would be one of those fights where 'they leave it all in the ring', as they say. It would be unreal.

without a doubt, I mean them guys were ruthless in the ring, the funny thing is that Hagler is often known for just being a brutal animal in the ring ( which he was) but his skills were as smooth as any fighter in history, his footwork, parry, jab he had it all, and then with Robinson he's known mostly for his graceful style and skills, but he was as gritty as any fighter in history, there will never be anyone like them again, never.

Yeah, check the younger Hagler out who outboxed Bennie Briscoe, he's flying all round the ring peppering him with straight lefts and rights. And on the inside he had it all basically.

    I think Robinson/Hagler @ 160 would be a hell of a fight. What about y'all?

I hear you, but I guess we'll have to see what he says when he retires (really retires).

For now he's taken on the "bad guy" persona and will say anything to get under peoples skin. These kind of debates is what he wants, as long as his name is being mentioned, then he's being promoted. If he does not finish his last few fights fighting the best out there, then he was all talk.

As far as a dream match against Robinson goes, I agree that he wouldn't last 10. Robinson could win on heart alone.
