Uncle Roger said SRR was the GOAT, Floyd needs to listen to Uncle Roger more.

Yea I laughed when I saw the vid of Roger saying it. And Roger is a cocky mother ****er himself, but even he knows the level of skill SRR possessed, a level than we may never see again.

That is how I can tell y'all don't really follow Mayweather. If 24/7 was the first place you heard Roger say that SRR is the greatest fighter of all-time, you don't follow the Mayweather clan. Roger has been saying that for years. He says it in damn near EVERY interview on youtube.

I never said that 24/7 was the first place I heard Roger say that.

And, exactly, he has said it in many interviews that I have seen over the years. In fact I dont think I remember a 24/7 where Roger actually said, SRR is better than May Jr, like he has in some interviews.

I mean if Floyd rattled off wins against, Mosley, Pacquaio, Williams, maybe Martinez and a few others before he retired he would have a BETTER argument.

But even then it will always be hard to argue your better than someone who literally had almost 5 times as many pro fights as you, and in those fights probably fought as many legends as you have actual pro fights.

True. But 90% of the self promotion is how people are sick of it. And wish he could act differently

 And yes, all those people will buy his ppv to see if he finally fails, therefore more money for money. But if he talks ridiculous amounts of **** or not, people are still gonna watch the dude, and he's still gonna be ridiculously rich.

"I've done a lot of things in this sport, things that a lot of fighters weren't able to do in the sport and didn't do in the sport. This fight with Shane Mosley will enhance my legacy."
    -Floyd Mayweather.

I know it's a little off subject, but what do you fellas think about this recent mayweather quote from the scene of boxing?

I think it is a good thing he refused the WBA belt. I know the belts mean money for most boxers, but I wish everyone would boycott all belts except The Ring.

It is sad when you have to depend on a 39 year old SSM to "enhance" your legacy. Cotto must be a living legend then. Not saying SSM is not dangerous. He is. But to imply that this is some kind of historic is utterly silly - unless your standards are low.

Beating Mosley would be very significant. He is the number 3 fighter in the world pound for pound. But that being said, Floyd is no Robinson, regardless if he beat both Mosley and Pacquiao. He just has not done enough.

yeah I agree with what your saying completely, I don't get all the hype for this fight, how is beating a 39 year old thats not fought in 15 months, is gonna be some amazing achievement, I favour Mayweather big.

p.s - and you know all the haters a gonna say the same thing after the fight, I'm saying it now, I ain't a hater, just looking at the facts
