  1. Good for boxing to keep the MAIN ATTRACTION around. Glad he is considering to stay. Bad for Amir Khan's mental state though.:happy

    Why?
What is the point at this stage?
He's 38 years old, he fought and beat the other big name from his era, and he's made insane amounts if money.

What's the point of sticking around until he's 40, and being beaten by someone who couldn't touch him in his prime?

  4. :good I think that is part of the deal if it is true. Like him fighting Manny. I think they want him to move up.

Mayweather is still in excellent condition. It's not as if he looks old. You can watch him and tell he's still levels above everyone else. If you still got it, why stop? He definitely still has it.

Time waits for no one, he can look great but his body has to be getting slower.

Also, its going to be tough to get motivated now that the biggest fight ever us over.

Froch was a specimen too, but he called it quits

Its very unfortunate if Floyd doesn't retire. Boxing badly needs to move on. He proves his point vs PAC. What else is left? Let him beat up Berto then rematch PAC and hopefully retire him in his own retirement fight. Then boxing can finally start moving forward and focusing on the younger, more interesting fighters and fights.

Please no...the sport of boxing had enough of all this non sense, contradictions, system manipulating, ducking, cherrypicking and the list is long. Enjoy retirement Floyd!

  12. :deal I absolutely agree. He keeps 140-160 frozen in time and benevolent to him. It has to move on before he gets Roy Jones Jr. knocked out. If he stays he is asking for it, great condition and all. People are going to get what they want if Floyd keeps boxing.

He can make another 150 million with Pacquiao.

    30+ million with others.

I think he has millions* of reasons to get motivated, lol.

There's no certainty that there's a Pac rematch, and frankly I think the fans would largely stay away from it after last time.

Guy can do what he wants, I just don't see the point at this stage.
He's done as much as he's going to do and he's not going to get better after 38
