Hes still very sharp and obviously levels above his competition, with legions of fans that support his every move, why would he not keep cashing those checks?

I could understand if he was starting to seriously struggle in the ring but the man is still a level above.

I think he may have bitten off more than he can chew if he keeps it up. He has a hard time with opponent choice right now and it won't get any better after the Pacquiao fight unless he really starts fighting on CBS all the time or against Middle Weights.

that's just a pipe dream I'm afraid. But really it doesn't matter he's made the sport of boxing a farce. The casual fans put boxing on same level as pro wrestling All fights are fixed.
Sad part is many of them are . Tell me honestly that you believe any fighter would have a fair fight with Floyd in Vegas???
No one has for a long long time have they???

Do you HONESTLY believe Floyd's performance against Pac proved he's a level above everyone else?? He struggled badly against an injured fighter fighting in pain

Most everybody had Pac P4P #2.

Most everybody thought Pac had the best chance to beat Floyd anyone ever has.

118-110 happened. I would say he proved it with an exclamation point.

Say goodbye to any possibility of a Pacquiao rematch or a Bumlovekin showdown.

HBO had better PRAY Canelo beats Cotto. If not, say hello to Mayweather Cotto II for the 160lb title on Showtime...

Floyd will rematch PAC. Its silly to think otherwise. Its too much of an easy fight, for way too much money for him not to. Repeat of same deal, except Floyd will get 65/35 instead of 60/40.

Floyd isnt going to say no to an easy fight for a 9 figure payday.

when you keep putting up that ludicrous obviously paid for scorecard 118-110 you immediately lose credibility. no knowledgeable boxing person would have scored that fight like that. Its as if you think to keep posting it makes it legit youre wrong
Mayweather barely s****ed a close win over a severely injured opponent fighting in pain. If anything Mayweather embarrassed himself fighting " SCARED" as his father/trainer described it

Floyd will only rematch Pac in Vegas. That way you'll just get a repeat of a contest with the deck heavily stacked in Mayweathers favour again
Pac will take the fight though $$$ is too hard to resist & he might just be able to KO Floyd because that is the only way he could win in vegas. If Pac is 100% Floyd wont find it easy at all

    To make even more money.

Fighters usually stay on fighting too long for a variety of reasons: money, the limelight, the rush, it's all they know and are used to doing.

I've always felt that Mayweather would fight on until he's really old and far far past his prime. That's my prediction of pretty much every big name fighter, based mainly on boxing's history.

Mayweather's basically been bred to be a boxer since he was a young toddler. He loves the money, the limelight.

That may end up happening. Ego and pride get in the way, it's obviously hard for someone who's been so good for so long to accept not being that good anymore.
