Most people would say either 1 or none.


This is the hilarious thing about people who hate on Floyd, they get so hung up on whethee he should've had a loss, or whether the guys he beat had been beat already,
and then go on to talk about another fighter, who had been beaten, and had also face guys who had been beaten.

It shows how much of an impact Floyd had on the casual observer, because losses never used to matter.

I almost think that if he didn't get the nod in the first Castillo fight, people wouldn't hate on him nearly as much as the guy who avenged his only loss.

It's said that Gene Tunney only learnt the right way to box after taking a hiding from Harry Greb.
Had he not lost he might not have had the legacy he did.

 

But there are more examples of fighters falling apart after a loss

 

That's a more modern thing.

Exactly is he to be penalized because other guys have lost. Surely it’s a factor of his brilliance that he did not lose. Also my reference to agreeing with Pimp C about GGG being a nobody was in reference to a comparison with Floyd. Even the title of thus thread calling Floyd a faker is sacrilege. Floyd schooled Canelo who GGG went into a life and death battle royals with. GGG is a good fighter in fact a very good fighter but I don’t consider him an ATG nor should he be mentioned with Floyd. There are levels and Lil G is where he is but certainly not in the pantheon with the Fab 4, SRR, Dick Tiger, Monzon, Mayweather, Tito, JT, RJJ, Super Joe Calzaghe, Andre Ward and BHop.
