He can box but the m*therf*cker needs to lay down some heat every time he punches since he throws and runs.

His fans really appreciate and enjoy watching those who epitomize the art of "hit and not get hit." Floyd does this to perfection. While I like watching pressure fighters or guys who sit down on their shots more, I appreciate Floyd's skill and realize he is one of the most talented fighters that I will ever see in my lifetime.

Well, he was more aggressive before facing welters and super welters. Too bad he moved up I guess.

    Starch?

More like Cotto was dancing all over the place and a hometown stoppage.

And this was after Mayweather beat Corley up. Corley was weaker then before.

Boxing is a very very technical sport, and the true fans recognise this, and can enjoy a range of boxing styles. PBF always lands clean punches, and is brilliant to watch as he showcases his skills. Personally, I think a PBF fight is far more interesting then recent Hatton fights.

Cotto hurt him on multiple occasions and then finished him. Corley was NOT weaker. Yes Cotto was hurt, but he held on, recovered and beat him in impressive fashion. He also hurt Mayweather, so its not like Cotto was the only one or anything.

Cotto startched Sosa in a few who took Mayweather the distance and made him uncomfortable at times.

I will also add that he has been exciting at times, just not recently. Watch him against Augustus, Gatti, Corley, Castillo, and Corrales - all of those fights are good ones to put into the DVD player and watch.

Floyd has all the skills but his fights won't be remembered like the other greats in the past...hopefully his next bout will be a classic for his sake.

I think Floyd is a very exciting fighter. His only recent fight that I really didn't enjoy was the Baldo fight. It started out ok, but Floyd never turned up the pressure and it was pretty predictable what was going to happen after the 6th round. I've been watching boxing since I was 5, and I love all types of styles. Mike Tyson and Pernell Whitaker where two of my favorites as a kid. Floyd has been a regular on HBO since like 98. I've enjoyed watching him develop as a fighter. There isn't much he can't do in the ring. The guy rarely makes mistakes. I think Floyd, Sweat P, and Roy Jones Jr. are the three most talented fighters I've seen in my lifetime.

On a related note - PBF huggers seem to think he's untouchable and has impenetrable defence, but this clip of the Corley fight just proves he isn't. Look how slow and tired PBF looks in round 3, and look how easily Corley turns PBF's attack into defence by pushing him onto the ropes (I can picture Hatton doing just that, only better).

His opposition since the Corley fight has made him look better than he did vs Corley - Gatti and Mitchell were both past it (it was never going to be anything other than a one-sided fight vs Gatti, and Mitchell had just moved up to a new weight after being spanked silly by Tszyu), Judah had just lost to journeyman Baldomir and is a nutjob, Baldomir is slow as molasses, and DLH is well past his best.

That said, however, Judah had his moments vs PBF, DLH landed plenty of leather on PBF, and Baldomir took PBF 12 rounds.

PBF has obviously fought much more cautiously since moving up, so no, he is not as exciting as he used to be at the lower weights when he felt less threatened by his opponents' power.
