This is how delusional Floyd haters are. Floyd has gone toe to toe with many boxers over his career. Emmanuel Augustus, Jesus Chavez, Zab Judah, Mitchel, Corley, and most recently Shane Mosley, and they still say he wont do it.

 

Not true. Shane stunned DLH several times in the rematch alone. He landed some tricky left hooks in that fight that he hadn't used much over his career. Also, with Winky, it's easier to take a shot when you know it's coming and can brace for it.

My point is people act as if Floyd did something extraordinaray by recovering from two flush shots from Shane when other boxers have have taken the same shots with less effects. Now his chin is good, but he's not Marvin Hagler and he's not stupid. Ortiz is one of the harder punchers he's faced with a combination of energy, power, size and speed. That's a bad comination to go toe to toe against. And the guys Floyd went toe to toe against didn't have all of that combination.

 

We are on the same page on Floyd's chin. :thumbsup What Floyd did against Shane, taking those punches in the 2nd and recovering, has been done to death. Nothing to brag about.
