Agreed, he is the best of his era, and there is no real argument against that... A long shot historically though.. His skills are certainly up there, resume wise several rank higher IMO.

 

Who really on earth cares? I would love to talk to the guy who is so upset that a guy thinks he's the best at his job.. If that guy who was 2-51 said he's the best, who would care? The reason why everyone still cry and talk about it is because it's Floyd Mayweather and because he may have some sort of case..

Recently Ronda Rousey said she was the best fighter in the world.. The world must have given all their Fs to Mayweather because no one talks or said anything about that...

 

Exciting and Best don't mean the same thing, The Best Ever doesn't have to be exciting at all, the only requirement is that they are the best at what they do!

 

For all of the people who get angry when Floyd says he's TBE, I would love to see how they would react when Ali started saying he was TBE after he beat Liston.

Too many people judge Mayweather's whole career off of fights that happened when he was 36,37,38. They completely forget what a marvel Pretty Boy Floyd was in his 20's. I wonder how esteemed would other fighters like SRL be if we did judged them the same.

Floyd is the best.. the guy almost died from dehydration where only IV can save him and he was still able to run 12 rounds the next day.. who can do that . Only the BEST .

 

Not even the golden boy could be saved by IV.
