You can't argue Miguel over Mosley. Cotto is the rising tide but Mosley is the better fight for Mayweather. Mosley is already great, already a elite 147, higher P4P and the bigger name even.

I'd rather see Mayweather-Cotto than any other fight, but that will have to wait anyway.

If Arum wanted it before, he would've been calling for it, but he wanted to match up Margarito with Mayweather.

Maybe next year the fight will be more makeable.

at this point i think Cotto's style is bruising enough to discourage Mosley, but Mosley's style is better to fight PBF...as said a million times before, styles make the fights, and i could easily see Mosley besting PBF, but losing to Cotto, then PBF comes back and embarrasses Cotto...i hopes these fights happen but it's probably wishful thinking...

Don't tell me that if Floyd fought Mosley and he won that the next day there wouldn't be a thousand post crying that Mosley is 35 years old. PBF is damned if he do and damned if he don't.

Mosley-Mayweather must happen...it will go a long way solidifying each fighters legacy. Cotto-Mosley and Cotto-Mayweather would be good matchups as well - Cotto could win both fights

to be honest PBF brought that on himself...he tries to talk it up like Ali, but lacks the charisma to get fans to back him up...PBF would've been much better off playing the humble, nice-guy role...Whitaker never was a KO artist either, but he kept his mouth in check so people appreciated his skills, even his defensive skills...PBF chose the wrong character and it will affect his place in history to some degree...true greatness will always be determined by the people, so if few people like you, logic says you will be less great regardless of accomplishments...look at Barry Bonds...

Whitaker may have not claimed stuff like "I'm better than Ray Robinson", but he was difficult with the media and came across as a big jerk, just like Floyd.

The general public doesn't know crap about boxing. Most of "the people" probably never heard of Eder Jofre but will talk about how Mike Tyson is one of the greatest fighters ever.
