This fight will happen Floyd is just letting it sizzle for a bit, and why not? he can make some very easy money fighting Hatton before this fight, so again after Oscar he should be allowed one easy fight, Hatton would qualify as that soft fight, then on to business which is Mosley of which we know Floyd will have his work cut out for him.

I don't know that I'd ever pick someone to beat PBF, again. All he has to do is go into survival mode (starting in rd 1), avoid getting ko'd, and he'll get the decision.

It beats me why people think that Floyd fighting Shane was some sort of moral victory for the cherrypicker. He moved to Shane's division in 2005, avoided him for 5 years, and then fought him when Shane was 5 years older and coming off a long lay-off, and had already been outboxed by Miguel Cotto years earlier. Someone explain to me why this was a courageous and special achievement by Floyd???

Um no, Floyd openly called out Mosley back in 2006 after his win against Carlos Baldomir. When Mosley was asked about it after his fight with Vargas he didn't seem to be to excited about the idea of fighting Floyd. All of the sudden Floyd beats his ass and he's shot and all of this other bull**** :-(

Calling someone out and doing something about it are two very different things. Outboxing Shane Mosley a decade after his peak and 3 years after Miguel Cotto did it is no great achievement. If Floyd had fought him in his 1st fight at welter instead of Sharmba Mitchell, I would have been impressed. As it is, I am not. And I won't be impressed when Manny knocks his exhausted old ass out either.

What are you talking about, Floyd knew Mosley wanted to fix his teeth and go on vacation, thats pretty much the same as calling out an injured man, he wouldn't have called him out otherwise

Before that, he called him out in 05 after Bruceles. Mayweather also moved UP to 147 and instead of Mosley coming to 147 to meet Mayweather he stayed at middle weight until 07. Mosley chose to fight and rematch Vargas over Mayweather as he new it wasn't a great stylistic match up for him and he couldn't afford to lose again after losing to Wright. Mayweather was also looking to fight Winky Wright at WW in 05, but Winky went for bigger money fight vs Trinidad at 160.

Great post...i dont understand why people say when Floyd called him out it means nothing...but when someone calls Floyd out and Floyd doesnt jump all over the shyt...Floyd's ducking...fukk outta here.

But i think Winky did actualy say he would fight Floyd....nothing materialized though.
