    No fighter has ever had Mayweather's combination of defensive skills, speed, power, heart, chin, stamina, ring smarts, boxing ability...
    Mayweather without a doubt is this generation's best fighter, and should be considered one of the best technical boxers ever.
    Whether you hate Mayweather's personality or not, he is definitely a one in a generation. You couldn't find three boxers historically that can fight both as offensive and defensive as well as he can.

    Roy is the most surreal. Floyd is the most all around boxer ever probably. He is a defensive master and his offense has more dimensions then probably anyone else. And the fact that he mastered his craft in all of it.

    Ali in his prime is the most gifted boxer ever.
    Pernell Whitaker is also above Floyd, if you ask me... RJJ is another one too.
    Those guys came away with some crazy ****, Floyd is just a smart fighter, he fights smart and has athletic ability.

    Naturally gifted? I don't know that, but he is definitely one of the most complete fighters ever and has one of the best defences in the history of the sport.

    That does not = natural talent.

    I would argue that: Roy Jones Jr, Thomas Hearns, Pernell Whittaker, (from what I have seen) Sugar Ray Robinson, Ali and Mike Tyson and others have more natural talent than Floyd. Especially the first three

    Defencive skills are not a natural gift.

    Anyway, I think it's a reasonable claim. Jones runs him close, and is also a reasonable pick. In a different way, Langford is a reasonable choice and so is Harry Greb.

    But as far as what we've got on film goes, i'd say it's Roy V Pretty Boy.
