    Anyone fighting in the 80's would have had tougher competition.

    Im not sure you can say he is lucky, because most eras in Floyd's weight category came up short to the 80's.

    He would have more losses in the 80's, I agree. But Floyd is a great fighter, he cant help the era he is in, he just has to fight in it.

    Best thing for him to do is fight everyone in THIS era, leave no doubt. That means Cotto and Williams IMO.

    How would he have faired?

    I'm not being facetious, I would like to know, say, out of the best ten of 2 weights in the 80's, how do you think Floyd would have coped?

    EDIT: In fact, I would like to hear how you think (or any of you) how he would have got on with Duran. I ask because of the upcoming fight and no, I am not comparing Hatton with Duran. Maybe I will in ten years, maybe I will think he was as over rated as a few think on here, but until then.....?
