    Floyd Mayweather has not fought in over 1 year and before last weeks annoucement to fight Victor Ortiz he was thee most talked about boxer in the world.


    Many people hate Floyd and many people like and respect the man for being great at his craft.

    Let's admit it people we love to see Floyd fight whether we want him to win or lose its nothing like watching Floyd do his thing in the ring.


    Pacquiao fans may not admit it but Pacquiao truly needs to take the test and fight Mayweather to cement his legacy! Some even know deep down inside he has a good chance of losing to Mayweather but thats ok with them as long as he takes the test and fights Mayweather. They will feel that they did all of this fighting and arguing over this steroid and test issue for a good cause.

    Floyd Mayweather get more threads and post made about him more than any other boxer good or bad. He is thee most inactive fighter in the world(besides Clottey,lol) but thee most talked about fighter in the world at the same time.

    Where are the threads about Gamboa,Donaire,Lopez,Alexander,Bradley,Margo,Cotto,Hopkins on the everyday basis????

    Those threads dont exist on the daily basis like Floyd threads.

    Floyd fight was announced and all over national news 20 mins later! It was a running tag line at the bottom of all the ESPN stations.

    Floyd is talked about everyday because he is thee most relevant boxer in the world right now.

    He is so relevant and popular he has no endorsements and can barely hang with a Phillipino on American PPV.

    Nobody cares about Floyd except boxing fans that want to see him get KTFO by Pacquiao.

    He has been hyped on the biggest boxing network since the mid 90's. We just can't wait for him to put up or shut up. Not smart to wait till he is past his prime to take tough fights. Could end up like RJJ.

    There was a thread that filled up with 6 pages within an hour just talking about how Floyd was going to say something on twitter and nobody knew about what, but just to look at twitter around 12.
    Turns out it was him announcing his fight with Ortiz.

    When Floyd would do one random interview on fight hype, he'd get 6+ threads about that one interview.

    Who else can do that

    Thats the amazing thing is Floyd Maywether is doing all of this without major endorsements. There is no commercials shoving Floyd's name in our faces everday. Yet and still people talk about him non stop everyday of the week.

    You are in denial and thats ok its nothing you can do about your condition! Sure its great fighters out there but none more relevant than Floyd Mayweather.

    Not hate. It's boxing its a tough business. Like any business you need to know your customers, the consumer. Floyd is so removed from reality and he simply wasted his prime. At the end of the day he let Manny Pacquiao take over the #1 P4P title and instead of making a fight to prove he is the best he goes on long layoffs and comes back to fight yet another fighter who has only 1 fight at Welter under his belt.

    The best fight the best and take the tough fights. Mayweather has disappointed tremendously as a Welter in terms of making good fights.

    If you are not a Floyd fan how could you appreciate him or anybody as a WW that has yet to face Cotto, Margarito, Clottey or Pacquiao not even one ?

    There is a reason why so many people are saying this and that and it is not made up out of thin air.

    He went from 2.4 million buys in 2007 to losing at least 1 million viewers every single fight. Why because of hate ? He failed to build and cement his legacy.
