Mayweather had a tough time in 24 rounds against a very poor man's Chavez.

Julio wins...Probably 8-4 with some dominate late rounds...maybe a late stoppage.

Chaves' size worries me, but seeing how Meldrik Taylor outslicked him easily makes me confident Mayweather would take it. Floyd fight for the win not to entertain like Taylor. Boring, defensive UD.

Though I'm a giant Chavez fan and hate Mayweather, Floyd by UD if it's twelve rounds. Bad style-matchup for Julio.

Floyd's a bit too fast on his feet and I think he has fast enough hands and precision to pierce through Chavez' guard.

Chavez. Taylor fought Chavez at 140 so a 135 Chavez was much faster and brutal. PBF would have to have spent some time at LW in order to have a chance. All this pop in through weight classes and fighting a strong fighter in Chavez would have been a mistake.

Taylor gave him trouble not just because he was fast but because he throw A LOT of punches. Mayweather would get picked apart and TKOd late.

LOL Mayweather fights at a slow pace. Let him try the shoulder roll on Chavez and he will be in for a good surprise when he finds himself on the canvas.

Chavez wins most times at lightweight, Mayweather wins most times at superfeather.
