You cannot unify and completely dominate a division by simply being a "good" champion. No doubt KT in his prime was a great champion. His standing following the Zab fight had him as high as P4P #2 or 3 at the time. The guy faced everyone put in front of him in the 140 division, and it is not his fault guys like Mosley opted to skip the 140 division all together, avoiding a possible matchup with Zoo. His standing in the HOF cannot be questioned and will easily go down as one of the best 2 or 3 Jr WW's of all time.
I was referring to Miguel Angel Gonzalez as being a "good champion" as i was replying to someone else in this thread. Are you another poster who is claiming that the greats around Tszyu's weight such as Mosely ducked him ? So Mosely skipping 140 for a massive megafight with Oscar means he was ducking Tszyu does it ? atsch Do you honestly believe that he was scared of Tszyu. Yes Tszyu was a very very good fighter who had a long reign in the 140 lb division but unfortunately it's hard to compare him to the greats of his era because he never fought any of them when the other great fighters around his weight all fought elite level opposition so we can easily assess how great/good they were compared to their counterparts. But of course they all ducked Tszyu according to some posters on here. atsch 2 points that are hard to defend for Tszyu supporters - * In his prime he was embarrassingly stopped by B-level Vince Phillips. * His best win is Zab Judah who lost badly to all the elite level/a-level fighters he fought. At the end of the day Tszyu's resume/legacy pales in comparison to the greats of his era around his weight.
In his Prime he was stopped by Phillips arrrrrrrrr that old line useless posters use when they have nothing else to use. Does Jermaine Taylor get **** for losing against Carl Froch in his Prime Does Pavlik get **** for losing to a old Hopkins in his Prime Does Mike Tyson get this much **** for losing in his Prime Does Lennox Lewis get as much **** and he lost to Oliver McCall then Hassim Rahman. Actually come to think of it Lennox Lewis and Kostya Tszyu are very simular in there way there career went and there background. But Lennox doesnt get the same **** Tszyu gets. Fighters Lose some more than others but its how you respond to a lose. I want you guys to answer me this Did Ali Lose Did Ray Leonard Lose Did JC Chavez Lose All the greats lose some fighters like PBF are managed well and dont take many risks. PBF has all the talent in the world but even i can see in his eyes he fights scared now.
Difference between Lewis KO's and KT's are that Lewis never got bashed up, he just got caught with 2 big shots. KT got beaten up by Vince Phillips who was a gatekeeper.
taylor got loads of **** for losing (conditioning comments etc) pavlik gets loads of **** tyson should get **** as it was his fault but his other problems overshadow it Lewis got caught by big shots each time never beaten down Lennox retired at the top having avenged his losses and didn't come back for another payday so no their careers are not alike Calzaghe didn't lose, marciano didn't lose atsch the comment about the eyes of pbf is particularly dumb even for a clown like you :deal Nearly all of what you write on ESB is pure **** but this rates among the worst of them all, for someone who thinks they are clued up on boxing this post proves otherwise. I would suggest you stop reading books on old fighters etc or listening to tales from other saddos stuck in the past and instead watch dvds of floyd and appreciate that you are able to watch a master boxer at work :deal No one is saying tszyu was **** only that floyd would win but of course it's not like you to get carried away with hypothetical matchups  In short you are a thick clown :hi:
Excuse me, but didn't you once say that 'no-one lies on tv its too easy for them to be found out'? That doesn't suggest to me that your scaling the summit of intelligence.
I think that was in relation to mundine "calling people out that he had no intention of fighting". Unfortunately it seems mundine was actively pursuing such fights making me seem more intelligent than the average hater on here. :hi:
I was under the impression KTs mind was not on job for the philips fight and his achievements after that help to show it was just a bad day for KT, although it is hard to say for sure without a rematch. I do beelive he would have avanged both losses if given a rematch. The big if against Floyd is whether or not he could catch Floyd with a good shot which would dpend on Floyd's willingness to engage, even hatton got few shots in so I reckon Kostya has a decent chance of a harder better timed shot that might do it for him. that being said Floyd coukld just as easily run away and potshot and take a comfortable point victory. That being said Kostya is a true champion in my eyes and Floyd is just dick who is very very good at fighting.
