George got hit with everything and took it as part of the game. Floyd was always 100% focused on defense so he didn't take nearly the clean shots that George did. But the ones he did get hit with he took pretty good. I'll go with George

These are four old, retired guys. This belongs in the classic section.

He fought plenty of guys who could bang and did get hurt a few times but he recovered extremely well

While I don't want to knock his chin, he rarely ever got hit flush in his career. I don't care to get into chin talk but in all honesty most of the guys we credit with great chins who don't go down or get stopped usually do so because of great defense.

Zab Judah dropped Floyd, the ref didn't count it. Midiana had boy hurt badly. Floyd was lucky there wasn't 30-45 seconds left in the round. Would have been interesting to see Floyd deal with Madiana on shakey legs.

After almost 20 years of being on here (and even with a long absence), it’s hilarious to see that nothing has changed when it comes to the utter disdain for Floyd (Aka TBE).

Floyd definitely had a good jawline, however you can't even begin to compare him to the other 3 because he was never in any sustained wars where he had to prove the mettle of his chin. The shots he took were isolated shots, not trench warfare shots. Now had he been in those type wars and his chin still held up, you can make this proclamation.

I mean, Maidana had Amir Khan on shaky legs for three rounds and couldn't stop him. He failed to stop Broner despite staggering him repeatedly and dropping him multiple times. I'm gonna make a safe bet and say that Floyd could survive 30 seconds.

    LOL.

That would be the safe bet. FM was hurt bad by Mosrly and survived.

How can you say he has an iron chin when he hardly got hit flush in his career

Not even close. Chuvalo had one of the best chins in boxing history.

Maybe not as good as George Chuvalo’s but maybe as good as George Constanza’s

Of course not. George campaigned in the heavyweights and even though heavyweights were smaller in George’s day they were still significantly bigger than the weights Mayweather campaigned at. FMJ had a decent chin. Maybe great chis but it was never tested by a great puncher in his prime.
