Floyd Mayweather Jr(24yrs) vs Amir Khan(present age 24yrs) who has the best resume

He still is growing on me. I like how he is ambitious and has stepped up the opposition level, and recovered from the Prescott debacle.

I try not to root against fighters just because they have outrageous fans who overrate them.

Hmmm let's see here... you forgot to mention that KHAN GOT KNOCKED THE **** OUT ALREADY. Meanwhile, Mayweather has never even been legitly knocked down (to this day).

Mayweather was untouchable at age 24... Khan was getting touched up pretty ****in bad by the horribly unskilled Maidana.

Have you seen Mayweather- Corrales or what kid? Doesn't seem like it. Khan will get his wish to fight Mayweather and you'll get the answer to your question when he gets stretched AGAIN.

Floyd; he took the title at a younger age and won every fight convincingly w/out being knocked down by a punch...

Amir STILL has the 1st round brutal ko loss...Floyd has never been close to that in any fight.

dont know for sure khan is getting better every fight. not saying he will but hes closer shout that most for someone to take over the mantle.

as for the question Floyd at 24 surely Corrales still ranks as one of his best wins. jury still out on Khan so we will have to see

I used to think Lazarus was bad for licking Khan's arse, but now your taking the biscuit.

Your thread yesterday about Khan "shocking the world and beating Floyd in 2012" got shot down by plenty of people, telling you why Khan can't and won't do it, now your trying to say Khan is more accomplished at the age of 24 than Mayweather was at 24? ****ing come on...

Now we know Floyd "MIGHT" be a possible opponent for Khan next year, but stop ****ing creating thread's about Mayweather and Khan as you'll keep getting shot down.

 

it's ok to compare resumes when they were that age... but i'd say that Mayweather has beaten the better opposition and never in any serious trouble in his fights early in his career like khan.... sorry, it's not even debatable.

 

I think it is fairly obvious...

That being said, I wanted to point out one thing. Jesus Chavez was a pretty damn good fighter; I know a lot of people won't remember him at his best, but before he was ruined by the death of Johnson, Chavez was good ****. So yeah, I know a lot of people don't even consider Floyd's win over Chavez, but that is a quality win.

True it's ok to compare records, i understand i may of went off on one a bit.

But the dude's been making thread's comparing Khan with Mayweather, and how he'll beat him next year, etc etc, ever since it's been announced there "may" be a possible match up next year.

There's nothing wrong with supporting a fighter, everybody does it... But when people do what he's doing, he's asking for a mouthful of half the forum
