    floyds earnings leading up the the hoya fight:


    130--avg 1.5 million per fight (8 title defenses) = 12 million
    135--avg 2.5 million per fight (4 title fights) = 10 million
    140--avg 2.2 million per fight (3 fights) = 6.6 million
    147--avg 6 million per fight (3 fights) = 18 million
    ________________________________________________________


    total est. gross earnings = 46.6 million

    add the gross from the oscar fight 26 million
    and the hatton fight est at 20 million

    and you have a total gross of 92.6 million:deal

    30% of it went to his bling bling and other liabilities and most of it went to taxes. DeLaHoya doesnt pay taxes and invested his money, bought a lot of assets that are making him more money. In 20 years Floyd will file for bankrupcy like Mike Tyson and James Toney did. I remember a thread here at ESB asking people to donate money to help Mike Tyson :lol: You can already start saving to help a brother out in need.

    this original poster, bigtime, made a very stupid mistake. Even if Floyd pockets 20 million from his fight against Hatton he will not make more money than ODLH in 2007 and probably a whole other bunch of people on that list.

    ODLH himself will make a ton of money off the PBF vs Hatton and that will also add to his total.

    seems like another nuthugger thread with zero credibility

    I didn't make a mistake you did. what will oscar's earning be from the floyd vs hatton fight. it won't be off floyd because floyd is promoting himself in this fight hence he gets the promoters share of the purse on his end.:deal and are you really stupid enough to try and convinve yourself that oscar will earn an additional 20 million by promoting ricky hatton:lol:

    face it floyd will end up the 2nd highest paid athlete of 2007 hands down:happy

    you made another stupid mistake by thinking i said Oscar would make 20 million. I said he will make enough money off the fight so that even if Floyd makes 20 million (which is the number you said PBF would make), Oscar will still have made more money in 2007 than Floyd. If you still don't get it then just drop the subject cause i'm pretty sure everyone else gets it.
