Floyd Mayweather Jr claims people want to see him lose because they're racist

What career? He was just another good fighter until he started mopping up Mayweather's leftovers. ODLH, Hatton, Mosley. Hell if you start looking at fights even his "good" wins were leftovers Cotto, Margarito. Only "legit" fight he fought was Clottey and Clottey magically got a 1.5 million dollar "bonus" for a fight where he didn't punch.

Floyd is right. There are many, many goofballs who pick there boxers based on race alone.
The majority of these type of fair weather fans are based in Europe, but the Holmes-Cooney fight showed us conclusively, they exist in large numbers in the US also.

 

Floyd is one of those dudes that can never admit he's wrong. And I can't really blame the man b/c he's surrounded by grown men who can never say anything but "YES" to him.

So what we have here is an example of Floyd assessing the mess he's created for himself by things he's said, things he's done or more appropriately, things he "hasn't" done. Instead of looking at "cause and effect" and simple logic, he goes off the deep end with throwing the race card in the mix as the ONLY reason that people don't respect him.

It can't be his attitude....it can't be his disrespectful nature or his braggadocios demeanor. It can't be his fake persona he likes to call "MONEY" that no one buys.....It can't be his "**** the world" mentality or his constant talk about how he has "this or that" and how he's better than everyone else...

No...it has to be b/c he's black! We're all just trying to figure out why he's the only black boxer who has gotten this kind of critisim in this era.

 

Last fighter Floyd fought coming off a loss. Ever single fight after the guy he faces is coming off a dominating KO victory. Oscar, Hatton, JMM, Mosley.

 

'Lil Mayrunner just sounds dumb.... Read the title of the thread... If he said that, well, he is the obvious racist.... Fraud is saying anyone other than black who looks for him to lose is a racist.... WTF? SO!! Nobody who is from a different race cannot look for him to lose because its racial????

I never said this. It does measure how highly regarded a person is(i.e, how well like they are).

 

And even that fight was negotiated BEFORE the loss with Zab coming off of a spectacular win.

nothin to do with his color, atleast for me. I wanna see him lose just like i wanted to see Gamboa, hamed, Khan, Litzau, Ponce de leon, Lopez etc.... just to remove that 0, and bring them back to the ground. Some of em i wanna win the championship again.

 

And PAC has only faced TWO fighters coming off a loss. Josh..whom many felt beat Cotto and EM...the loss to Zahir. Why clutch for straws here?

 

Of course Mayweather deserves criticism but to completely write off that him being black ADDS to this is just naive.

 

He's actually fought 7 guys coming off a loss since becoming an established fighter. Altough 2 of those was against Morales who was coming off a loss to Pac. So we'll say 5 different guys coming off a loss since he became an established fighter, and 2 guys coming off a draw.

 

That's class, that is!
