Floyd Mayweather Jr claims people want to see him lose because they're racist

Black athletes that don't act arrogant and who don't some off as assholes are not hated.

Of course there are always going to be racist people...Racist whites that want blacks to lose, racist blacks that want whites to lose....there are racist hispanics and racist Asians as well...but they are a small number of people.

The average person hates a big mouth, black or white. Racism is not the reason people want Mayweather to lose, there are plenty of black people as well who don't like Floyd.

 

Obviously you felt your words could be construed as racist. Otherwise, why would you try to point out that you're not trying to be racist? All I said was that people(that includes everyone) in general, have a hard time empathizing with people of a different race. This results in blacks having a more negative opinion of whites than they do other blacks and whites having a more negative opinion of blacks than other whites. Being that over 70% of this country is white, it's pretty easy to see how blacks in the spotlight would receive more negative treatment than their white counterparts.

If you disagree, that's fine. However, I'm not sure why you have to respond with such negative and unrpoductive language.

 

Are you sure he wasn't talking about YOU GUYS in this thread? Or do you prefer tio think he was generalizing ALL Blacks in the entire world?

BTW...I asked which White athletes should be listed. Got that list?

 

Except by 'street' black like Hopkins or Jalen Rose when it comes to McNaab or Grant Hill.

 

This is part of my point. Whites are much more apt to view blacks as arrogant, and label them as assholes than they are other white people. Things that blacks might say or do that they interpret as normal confidence or being funny, is more likely to be interpreted as being arrogant or an ******* by their white counterparts. Just look at this thread. I view what I wrote as an objective commentary on our society. Whites on this thread interpreted it as an attack on them, which it isn't.

They want to see you lose because of your arrogance and trash talking, not because you`re black.

 

I know some black people who want to see him lose. They are educated and sensible, they are the kind who doenst like arrogant, thug, gangsta wanna be, racist and big mouth. Mayweather fit the bill perfectly.

 

It's always funny to see younger black people complaining about racism when in reality they have not faced anything in the same galaxy compared to what people before them faced. It's absolutely hilarious hearing the race card played 24/7 by the same people instead of facing reality.

 

What's the point? It's a list based on subjective opinions. Let me ask you this. I know you don't agree with me, but do you think those 6 got there by random chance; meaning that white athletes are just as likely to occupy those 6 spots? Or do you believe that blacks are just naturally bigger assholes that lend themselves to be hated?

 

Well that is a bit true, but another thing we have to look at is how It is the arrogant big mouthed black athletes who are the one who normally bring up the issue of race. Tim Bradley, Paul Williams, ect.., you never hear these guys bring up race and blame dislike of them on racism, where as Floyd does it all the time...
Hell Hopkins even went out of his way to show racism towards fellow black athletes who he claims "are not black enough".
It's a shame because its the ******* who are always playing the race card, and give people of other races a bad impression of Balck athletes who for the most part are nothing like guys like Mayweather or Owens or Hopkins ect.

 

The point is, you are crying "WHere are the white people on this list"...so has it occured to you maybe there weren't any that are seen as bad as them? Then again, youll just chalk that up to RASICM as well...
