Floyd Mayweather Jr claims people want to see him lose because they're racist

Don't tell me racism don't exist cause you would be ignorant to say that it doesn't. There are people in power right now who have admitted to being racist cause of stupid stereotypes. An owner out here said he wouldn't hire no blacks to work at his company no matter how qualified they were. The irony is his nephew tape recorded his azz.

 

I don't give a **** if he loses. I just want to see his scared ass get back in the ring and back all that **** he talked up.

 

You have nothing to back this up. Which leads me to believe you're simply making an assumption. Why are you making this assumption?

I never said that black people are hated because they are black. I said being black makes it easier for people to hate them. This thread is a prime example. Someone could make a thread saying spewing all sorts of racist and mean spirited things about blacks and they wouldn't be criticised as much as I am in this thread. Keep in mind that nothing I said has been mean spirited and I haven't even made any accusations racism.

You wasted your time this overly long post that is barely relevant to my point. Never did I mention anything about being opressed or held back. Here is my point again, people in general do not empathize as well with people outside or their race as they do with people within their race. This generally leads to people having a more negative viewpoint of people outside of their race than within. Does that mean that we're all a bunch of hardcore racists that hate eachother? Of course not. However, that does not stop us from having our racial bias. Mayweather's race does indeed play a role in how he is viewed.

That's the problem with you and many others who have jumped down my throat. You view everything to the extreme. Me pointing out that racial bias does exist and has negativley impacted the image of the black athlete has somehow become equivlant to me making widespread accusations of racism. That's not the case.

Being black makes it easier for whites to perceive you as a dick. Guys like LeBron, T.O, and even Michael Vick, are much better received within the black community than they are the white community. There's a reason for this. I lay most of it on the racial history between blacks and whites along with cultural differences.
