Why are you worried about the Author when the quote from Mayweather himself is what everyone is referring to?

I didn't even read the rest of the crap. Only the quote.

You know, just to show you how little this moron knows about boxing, and how he just spends his time trolling for Pacquiao fans, to get web hits:

1: Floyd lost 3 times in 220 fights as an amateur.

2: Pacquiao actually boxed 77 times as an amateur himself, and lost more than double that

3: Floyd turned pro at 18. Not 20

4: Floyd's Olympic loss was one of the most notorious screw jobs in sports history. Probably only a little less notorious than Roy Jones Olympic final

    You ****ing Moron.

Spadafora was a rumour Top Rank tried to start, to convince douche bags like you to buy the Mosely fight.

Can't believe actual adults fall for this stuff

Are you still waiting for Mathew Hatton vs. Mayweather ?

Mayweather mentioning Pacquiaos name in the last year = once

Pacquiao, Roach, arum mentioning Mayweather to sell fights = once a day

Why didn't he post just the original article then?

He's posting the Rick Rockwell crap, as he wants to include all the bull **** about Floyd Mayweather the guy comes out with every day

The author of this thread is just trolling.

He's upset real boxing fans don't read this crap, so forces it down their throats

Fans choose not to read pro-Pacquiao blog crap, as they know full well these guys just write crap about Mayweather to attract readers from Asia.

Why can't Pacquiao fans just respect that. rather than re-posting it on grown up sites?

30 minutes and this thread already has 2 pages, while other thread about current boxing/boxers haven't gotten more than 10 post since last night.

    All roads lead to FMJ.

That and selling more PPVS than Pacquiao, consistently

Pacquiao's popular like Jesus is. When somoene asks whether you hate him, you go "errr, no, he's a good guy"

Doesn't mean, I'm going to church every day of the week"

Pacquiao's next to irrelevant, as long as Mayweather's not on the horizon somewhere

Why Arum spends most of his time teasing people about a Mayweather fight

    Of course you are right.

I find it amusing that a guys re-posting a quote by Mayweather, and people are commenting on it, criticising Mayweather for being "irrelevant"

Truth is, your average pacfan couldn't go a day without writing something about him

Pacquiaos famous for being Floyds rival. Period

    Your information is wrong.

At the age of 14, Pacquiao moved to Manila and lived, for a time, on the streets. He started boxing and made the Philippine national amateur boxing team where his room and board were paid for by the government. Pacquiao had an amateur record of 64 fights (60–4).

Floyd did not trun pro at 18. Mayweather fought his first professional bout on October 11, 1996 against fellow newcomer Roberto Apodaca who was knocked out in round 2. Floyd was born on October 11, 1996. By the way, his official amateur record is 84-6.

    Get your facts straight!

The problem is that Cotto, Margarito, Morales were all coming off losses to plain grade C opponents

You know, Duran got beaten up a lot as well. Doesn't really matter if you're not one of the first guys to do it.
