Oh they did? Missed that. But that still doesn't mean he was about to fight him. Wasn't he rumored to be in contact with Cotto earlier this year or last year? Don't think that means a fight is happening IMO. Maybe he tried though..

Can't see the Spada fight happening at all. Makes 0 sense. But you can bet majority of this board latches onto the story like it's truth. :D

Of course. These days any rumor will work. For both sides.

I never expected the M Hatton fight either. Floyd would have been crucified if he took that. But the fact that they entertained the idea makes me wonder the legitimacy of this.

  5. And dipshits like you like to make blanket overreaching statements like that. Its not true just because you can type it.

Real boxing fans appreciate both fighters and what they can do in the ring. There are ****drop fans of both fighters who don't know anything about boxing. The more you open your mouth, the more you fit into that category.

I love both of these guys as fighters. But Manny as his popularity has made an attempt to really connect with his fans as someone who represents the cause of a people that been disparaged. This is wholly honorable. Floyd is in a bit of a "Growing Out Of His Youth Crisis" and his main focus is getting paid and even maybe getting out of boxing. Rumor here in Vegas is he wants a 100M exit via Manny Pacquaio!

    After Mosley knocks Pac out,
the next big fight will be a Floyd/Mosley rematch.

I think that PBF is an amazing boxing talent. When he was on the way up, he went after everyone. Fought all the tough top guys and (except for Castillo ) was dominant. But, i these past years, something shifted in PBF. he started picking his spots, and in his fights he stopped laying it all out there, the victories were no longer breathtaking displays of ring wizardry. I have always felt that the one guy with the style to deal with Pac, was Floyd. Great defense, sharp right hand lead unbelievable ring generalship. But, Pac is razor sharp, hungry and has that deep desire to beat the best and stay the best. Somewhere along the way PBF lost that desire to show the world why he is the man... I just don`t feel he can get by Pac at this stage in his career fighting the way he fights now. Take a look back at when he decimated Chicanito Hernandez with blinding speed and sharp power and you`ll see what I mean. Pac is fighting regularly, fights hungry and I think might be to much everything for PBF at this point. If this fight happened at PBF`s prime, that would have been truly something special...

Pac is a media fabrication and most likely a PED cheat.

This guy has literally been feasting on guys' leftovers and is now fighting a man who couldn't beat a man who just got bat up on FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS! If this was any type of REAL champion held to REAL standards his fan base would be expecting more from him.

He doesn't need a tune up. There are champions in his division. He calls out none of them. There are tough guys in his division. The guy calls out none of them. Pac is a media concoction.

"Went after every one", you mean like the previous WW champ, the lineal champ, the 154 true champ, then the 147 champ, then the #5 p4p who challenged him as a tune up, then the #1 WW? Right.

"Picking his spots" you mean actually knowing how to box? Right.

"Razor sharp... Beat the best and stay the best", you mean ALL guys working for the same promoter coming off of RECENT DEVASTATING losses where three of them were to Mayweather FIRST? Right.

What sport are you even watching.
