http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/jan/24/mayweather-court-hearing-delayed-until-march/ Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. won't have his next round in court on several felony charges until March, thanks to a delay granted this morning in Las Vegas Justice Court. The 33-year-old Mayweather, wearing a vest and tie, made a brief appearance in court this morning for a preliminary hearing on eight misdemeanor and felony charges stemming from a Sept. 9 dispute with his former girlfriend, Josie Harris. Mayweather's attorney, Karen Winckler, asked for a continuance of the case and Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa reset the date for 9:30 a.m. March 10. Meanwhile, Mayweather also faces a bench trial Feb. 3 in Las Vegas Justice Court on a misdemeanor battery complaint for allegedly poking a security guard in the face several times Nov. 15 over a parking ticket. That trial will be at 9 a.m. Feb. 3 before Justice of the Peace Janiece Marshall.
Feeding the homeless? So I'm assuming he wants the media to come see him when he's with his dad and uncle? :rofl
Why do they even bother with celebrity court cases. Every ****ing one of them put it off for as long as they can. The game is so unfairly rigged, its shocking. The reason their egos grow so big is because they get let off with this ****. Pisses me off.
nah. court dates easy to postpone homie, you fake thugs dont know anything remand makes everyone in the system more money, from lawyers to judges to police officers
Smart style vest or ghetto-ass wifebeater? (bad word choice, I know) I can picture Floyd sitting in court in a black vest with a tie tied around his neck with the same smile on his face that he's got on his mugshot pic
nothing new, never had a court case that wasn't remanded, nor has any of the homies. happens 99 percent of the time. and often the 2nd time around too
Man, you must be bad. This post puts me in mind of that recent one in the "best physiques" (or whatever it was called) thread, when that Adonis posted pictures of his beautiful body. It must be ****** season on ESB.
Got nothing to do with being a celebrity. Down here in Harris county in Houston, Felony cases easily go on a year or more before they get resolved. That's the just the way it is
Very true, I had a couple of cases down here when I was younger and even though we were ready to go to trial that **** kept getting pushed off down the road. The system sucks, it's all about money, aint got **** to do with justice.
Yeah my nig. My potna just beat a case that had been going on damn near two years. Where in the H you from homie?
how do you figure? from experience I can tell you that remands happen 99 percent of the time, what are you getting at pansy? gotta love trolls
