Floyd Mayweather Jr disses Roy Jones Jr by watching his KO losses on social media

I’m a big Roy fan and I don’t have a choice but to respect what mayweather did in the ring, but neither have much class and this is doing no favours for either of them.
What it takes to become a world champion boxer is above the capabilities of most people, but it’s more than just a title it’s a way to carry yourself, neither of them did that.
At this moment in boxing I think we are blessed with champions who project a champions mentality in and out of the ring, Usyk, Bivol, Crawford, I’m enjoying watching the way they carry themselves and the respect they show for the sport, it’s been a long time coming but it’s noticeable to me, champions acting like champions

Floyd had the better fundamentals as in skillsets whereas Roy was athletic freak. When his athleticism diminished with age he got knocked out whereas when Floyd’s athleticism went his solid fundamental skills set allowed him to keep winning.

It's an excuse. Jones was only 35 when he started to get knocked out regularly. Usyk for example is 38 and relies on athleticism too, and has had far more fights amateur and pro combined, yet Usyk hasn't slowed down at all.

 

Because his fundamental skills like Floyd are better meaning Usyk and Floyd though athletic are less reliant on their athletic speed than Roy.

You make some sense here. But honestly, if the shoe were on the other foot, do you think Floyd would have fought prime Lewis, relative to their respective sizes?

 

I am certain a prime Leonard beats any version of Floyd, as does prime Tommy Hearns. However, I am convinced Floyd never would have fought the prime versions of those 2.

Floyd’s skills foundation were better than RJJ. RJJ was more athletic. When RJJ’s athleticism dipped he was no longer the same fighter whereas when Floyd was older the foundation of his skills kept him winning. Floyd was better than RJJ.

 

Jones can't say nothing to a guy who was never knocked out, when he got knocked out something like 12 times.

prime blah blah blah excuses. There's NOTHING he can say. He hasn't got a prayer in any diss match when there's all that footage of all those fights of roy having such a terrible chin and losing fight after fight.
